Beginning the Spring Season!

We call the next few months "Spring" even though the earth isn't quite to that equinox day and there is 2 feet of ice-covered snow on the ground.  We spent the morning with Stephen, our new grower, learning about the green house set up and then we jumped in and planted trays of onions.

In the afternoon, we learning about our responsibilities for the up-coming lambing season.  Jill, our fibers teacher, came back to show us the ins and outs (most outs...) of lambing.

  1. Some of those images are surreal -- planting seeds with heavy snow in the background.
