Our mini-group worked at Sentinel Elm Farm today and we were fortunate to see the turkeys being fed their turkey mash. They climbed right up into the rubbermaid tub, gobbling and honking. We are happy to see them eat as we will be butchering them next weekend for our farm feast.
Our group worked on the bread oven today. The other two groups have built the rock wall foundation and poured the slab, as well as laying the first course of bricks. We built upon the work of others, as is usual for these wonderful farm tasks.

The brick cutter was cooled by a steady stream of water. When we arrived, the water had an ice crust. Sparkly in the sunshine, it was. Also beautiful is the new pair of oxen at Sentinel Elm. Very sweet!
